Ants and Apple
Over the weekend I went apple picking in Old Stone Orchid, Little Compton. The colors that I captured were natural. It was a rotten apple that had fallen over time and was being eaten by ants. The color scheme that my picture creates in a complementary scheme. Red and green are opposite of each other which create a high contrast. The complementary colors draw more attention than any other color scheme. I wanted the red and green to really pop next to each other. Not only do the red and green pop, but the black ants are very vivid as well. The ants are very distinguished because they are on the white and red.
