William Finley
William Finley is an American wildlife photographer and conservationist from Southern California. He lived a beautiful life between 1876 to 1953. In 1905, Finley and Herman T. Bohlman visited and photographed Lower Klamath Lake and Tule Lake for over a month. Together they worked to preserve wildlife. In 1907, Finley published a book called American Birds which contained various pictures of endangered birds.Their report in the November–December issue of Bird Lore helped prompt President Theodore Roosevelt to set the areas aside as federal bird reservations.
